well...i pulled out my old sex pistols cd the other day and had a listen...it had been a while and i'd completely forgotten how much i love them! i think they're just one of those bands that you don't realize just how amazing they are...

the other day i was at jb hi-fi and i picked up a copy of "bastards of young". which, for those of you who don't know, is a documentary about underground post-hardcore/emo/pop punk music in the united states. i hadn't seen it before and i pretty much bought it for the second disk of live performances...but upon watching it i was pleasantly surprised. i don't think i've ever actually payed full attention to a documentary before.

...it's only $8 at jb hi-fi so it's definately worth getting. it's a decent watch and it's got some pretty cool shit on it...like matchbook romance performing while dressed as the ghostbusters. there's also heaps and heaps of thursday...thursday is always good!
